Our battle against flattening the pandemic curve in Malaysia may have seen positive progress as of the last few weeks and it’s all thanks to all of our hardworking front liners.

And what better way to show our front liners that their hard work has finally paid off after Malaysia has been recognized as the ‘Top Five Countries In The World To Contain COVID-19”.

According to Bernama, Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that Malaysia has been recognized as among the five nations in the world, to have succeeded in controlling the spread of COVID-19.

The recognition comes after a global survey where the government’s actions in controlling the spread of the virus were well accepted by the people.

“People acceptance of the government’s actions received recognition in a global survey where Malaysia was ranked among the top five countries in the world, with the highest public approval,” he said during the daily press conference on 14 June.

“Today is the 89th day of the MCO, which had certainly been difficult in the initial stages, more so when the EMCO entailing a full lockdown on businesses and movement was enforced in the affected areas.” “With the people’s support and profound sacrifices of our front liners, we have successfully controlled the spread and flattened the COVID-19 curve,” he said.

Well done, Malaysians and our national heroes – the front-liners! Let’s keep up the good work and set an example for other nations in the world. Together we can fight against the spread of COVID-19.
